Dobrinishte

Located just 4 miles from Bansko, Dobrinishte offers good conditions for both advanced and beginner skiers.  The total length of the ski pistes in the region is 7km.

Major ski pistes in the Dobrinishte area are listed below:

Bezbog”  – “Govedarnika” - “Goce Delchev” chalet  is 3 600 meters long with a drop of 950 metres.  The descent begins at 2500 metres and ends at 1550 metres with an average inclination of 25%.

"Bezbog" chalet - “Tuzlata” - “Gotce Delchev” is one of the longest pistes in Bulgaria at some 4700- 5600 metres long.  Total vertical drop is 700 metres between 2250 metres and 1550 metres above sealevel; average inclination is 22%.   The two final points are connected with a double seated lift with a capacity of 500 persons per hour and a middle station.

Govedarnika” - “Goce Delchev” chalet.  For slalom this run is 700 metres long whilst for giant slalom it is 1500 metres long.



Kulinoto

Kulinoto is a site in the northern part of Pirin Mountain, in the valley of the “Kulina” river (affluent to Elovica River) and is situated amongst beech forests.

It is popular locally as a place for rest and recreation for the people of Razlog and neighbouring villages.  One ski run, which is served by two drag lifts, was made there with the voluntary labour of the locals in the 1980's.  Two grooming machines are employed for piste maintenance.  The place is some 1220 meters above sea level and the highest point of the run is approx. 1600 metres above sea level.   Since the piste is not very high, the snow only usually lasts until mid March.

A licence has been granted for further piste development in this area, so watch this space...
